Papilio demoleus sthenelus is a subspecies of the Chequered Swallowtail (Papilio demoleus), a butterfly found in Australia, in the family Papilionidae, the swallowtails and birdwings. Its caterpillars are known to feed on 10 plants, including Citrus australis, Cullen patens and Cullen tenax.
